“Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a desire to create media that moves others. I started with Crayola crayons and now shoot with Canon cameras—the creativity hasn’t changed, just the cost.”

Hi, I’m Parker Sands—a creative media professional, educator, coach, and storyteller with a passion for blending technical skill with artistic vision. Over the past decade, I’ve helped bring stories to life through educational projects, live events, and video production, including overseeing the completion of more than 2,000 student-created videos. Whether I’m behind the camera or guiding others through the creative process, I aim to craft engaging visuals that inspire, inform, and connect.
My portfolio highlights a diverse range of work: documenting a life-changing trek into the Grand Canyon, capturing the raw energy of live music performances, and producing thoughtful retrospectives celebrating cultural icons like Spike Lee. I thrive on collaboration, problem-solving, and the challenge of turning ambitious ideas into polished realities.
When I’m not creating, you’ll find me planning out my next surf trip, perfecting my golf swing, busting my butt on my bike, securing my spot in the pit at a live music show, or exploring the world with my camera in hand.
I believe creativity is born from thorough planning and preparation—but I’ve also learned some of the best shots come from adapting on the fly and being willing to get a little dirty to capture the moment.
