Staff Dance Video, “Workin’ My Way Back to School”

This lighthearted video showcases Urbana Middle School staff dancing and lip-syncing to The Spinners’ “Workin’ My Way Back to You” during the height of COVID and remote teaching. Created to boost morale and promote synergy, the project stands as a testament to fostering positive vibes during challenging times. It features clips submitted by staff members, which I edited into a joyful and cohesive video. The closing shot, a multilayered composition crafted in iMovie despite its software limitations, was a true labor of love. Celebrated across the district, the video was also highlighted on WCIA’s The Bright Spot, where I was interviewed about its impact.
